Stockholm! Before coming to a final decision I had to go through a couple of sleepless nights, constant email checking and a few deep conversations with friends including me freaking out several times. So basically, starting from 11th of March I can be found in Stockholm :) Right now I'm just panicking about leaving London and not able to be properly excited about this, but I'm sure my enthusiasm will grow in time. Really looking forward to new challenges and adventures!
As some of you know, my initial plan was to either find volunteering work outside of Europe or alternatively go and explore another European city for a few months. I had excluded looking after children from my list, figured 1,5 years (plus all those years in Finland) is enough. Time to gain experience in something else and blah blah blah. However, after realising that finding both a job and a place to live in a foreign city requires way too much time and effort, I started thinking about children again. I had a feeling that I shouldn't have any problems with finding a family to work with, and knew that it really would be the easiest option. So, after chatting to quite a few families in different countries and actually having a couple of families to choose from, deciding to go for a lovely family in Stockholm suburbs felt good. Now that I think about it, Stockholm is also the most sensible place to be since it's so close to Finland, considering the fact that I have to visit my lovely home country a couple of times during the spring/summer anyway. And obviously it's easy for people from Finland to visit Stockholm as well ;)
Now I've got 30 more days to enjoy in London, definitely gonna make the best of them. And to end this post in a cheerful way, I have a little treat for you. Love from me and my lovely football mates, enjoy!
